This was one of the absolute WORST experiences I’ve ever had at a nail salon, I’d give them 0 stars if I could, but I’m giving them 2 so my review doesn’t get deleted, they charge $40 for full set with regular polish & $50 for a GEL full set, which is fine.. I showed them my inspo pictures & asked for a pink clear acrylic powder instead of straight clear, the older woman attempted to do my nails except she couldn’t differentiate a short round nail from a elongated almond shape, I politely told her that wasn’t the shape I wanted she said okay after she puts acrylic on, it will look like the pictures (all while speaking in their native language, so I have no clue what’s being said) then she just stopped & said “ he will do for you” referring to the only male nail tech who was present I said okay fine, he then has the same exact issue, giving me the shape HE wanted to do not what I asked .. but at this point I just want to leave so I let him do his thing, they came out cute, despite it not being what I really wanted, he then he tells me, your total is $85… I’m now confused? Where’s the additional $35 coming in ? He immediately starts speaking to me in a VERY aggressive manner, telling me an additional $10 for gel, $5 for pink acrylic & $10 for shape and length…. I said I absolutely understand shape & length…. But why would I get charged double for gel and $5 for TRANSLUCENT pink acrylic powder? They ARGUED ME DOWN & then eventually the younger lady who was holding her small child said okay how about $75 that’s the lowest we can do I said that’s fine, she said okay because I just want you out, what are you using cashapp? I said no I’m using my card, she proceeded to tell me it was a $3 tax for using card I told her that was illegal & consumers should not be charged a fee that business owners are permitted to pay, unless it’s an official government tax, the man screamed at me DONT COME BACK I WONT DO YOUR NAILS EVER AGAIN… so yea … it’s my birthday & I regret ever going there, sad that he thought I would ever disrespect myself by coming back there. They also DO NOT CHANGE SUPPLIES, their nail bits get used directly after each customer, with No sanitation or changing of tools. As a proud, young, black woman save your money for a respectable establishment & go elsewhere•
The service is superb, the gentlemen that did my girlfriends nails had excellent skills. There were a plethora of options to choose from and I would highly recommend anyone in the area to fully utilize their day off for a nice self care session.
This was my second time visiting, and the experience was disappointing and not welcoming at all. Everything felt rushed. The first time I came, I got a short full gel set for 40. Yesterday I was suddenly told the same service would be 50, and 55 if I used my card, which was surprising because my first visit wasn’t priced that high. I know some places in the county like to upcharge, but this increase did not make sense. I also left with three cuts on my fingers. The attitude and overall atmosphere were off, and I did not feel comfortable. I definitely would not come back to this horrible establishment again.
